A minimalist and refined project, transforming a Burgundian mill into a place of peaceful healing, celebrating slowness and local authenticity.

Building a new village square in which each of the inhabitants, but also travelers passing through, could appreciate the generous geography of Burgundy, in the depths of the authenticity of a mill, that's a bit that and many other things, the Papotte project. Nestled in the heart of Bligny-sur-Ouche, the project is part of a process of preservation and rehabilitation, with particular care given to the history and authenticity of the site, while adapting it to the expectations of customers in search of peace. With its 600 m² of living space, Papotte embodies the perfect combination of sophistication and simplicity, offering a setting conducive to healing.

The search for minimalism and white spaces, dear to architects and owners, enhances volumes and highlights every detail, thought out, as we understand it, with great care. Carefully selected pieces of furniture complete the scenography of living spaces. For this reason, Papotte is also a celebration of slowness. Water simply flows everywhere according to the rhythm of the seasons. Supported by the tandem of Parisian architects from Studio Heju, they were able to transform this set into a refined living space.
